These two blogs both talk about the principles, or tragedies of producing good writing.
In the first blog, ten qualities are listed and explained. From the content, to organization, to ways of writing. As for me, the quality number six, good writing is like math, is really impressive.
My writing is usually organized. However, the logic would become a mess if I write carelessly. Sentences would repeated and points are listed without organization. This can really ruin my whole essay in which I should pay attention. To deal with this problem, I should always write an outline and do some brain storm first. In this way, I can always be reminded of the logical line in my writing. Another thing I have to focus on is the point that "good writing is grounded in data". I hardly add data in my essay since I dislike doing citation although I know this can make my writing unconvincing. I should try to add some data, or even quotations from celebrities.
In the second blog, more specific suggestions are listed. I feel that the first rule is really useful. In the past, I usually write essay in one structure, putting the content into the frame. However, this rule suggests that I should try my creative writing with different structures. Besides, revision is really important. I hardly realize the importance of revising until I wrote the "This I Believe" speech during public speaking class. Since I did a great revision and got a satisfying speech, I noticed that revising can change the article in many ways.
All in all, these suggestions are all useful and I will try to apply them to my writing little by little in the future. I believe that after another semester's studying, I will be able to "[produce] good writing. Or, at least, better writing".

I think you mean "strategies" not tragedies.
