Keep calm and make progress.

What class do you think is the most difficult after a semester? I PROMISE THAT WRITING AND COMPOSITION IS STILL THE HARDEST COURSE I'VE TAKEN IN CHESHIRE ACADEMY!!!

Firstly, let's talk about the progress I've made. In my opinion, i've improved my creative writing very much. In the past, "to be " verbs constructed the basis of my writing. However, after weeks' practice, great progress showed up. I can not only find words to replace those weak verbs but also always remind myself  of not using them. Besides, my ability of describing has really improved these days. I really did not know how to describe a certain thing before the project of creative writing began. Because of the project, I have learnt the ways and special perspective of observing substances. To be honest, these ways saved my writing. I used to face a huge difficulty that I don't know what to write and always stuccoed in the middle, even the start of the article. Because of the strategies and practices, I got over this task.

Nevertheless, the grammar problem is significant. Although I can pay attention to the grammar while writing articles, the grammar quizzes  really ruin my life......It seem that I do bad in nearly all the grammar categories, except comma splices. To tell the truth, grammar is always the obstacle in my writing since I first wrote a long article in China. I am really confused since I don't know how to improve my grammar. I tried to write down the grammar rules in a notebook and memorize them but it seemed useless. What Can I Do !

Last but not the least, I am more passionate in writing than before.  I've read some books and articles which could help me open my mind. Thinking differently also helped me a lot. I can expand my content by writing things relate to the thesis and main idea rather than limit my mind in a small boundary. Rhetoric is a good way to make writing better and make my mind more active. It can also increase my vocabularies and release my pressure. Thinking about some magical things and transform them into the characters in my articles really makes the process of writing a lot easily and interesting.

All in all, every coin has two sides. There are things I did great in the first semester and problems I am not satisfied with. I hope that I could improve my grammar and make fewer mistakes in the future. Reading books is needed and I believe I will do a good job in the next semester! FIGHTING!
