Dear Patrick,
How are you now? Do you still live in the small island and paint near the river everyday?
I am Sophia, a sophomore who have just knew your story about you and your wife Joanna. I really like the last part of the video, “She is just like the low tide in the morning; the new leaves of an old tree that we used to planted; the soft wind fly through my hair. She is a part of my world, she is a part of me." I am impressed by your romantic love experience and your kindness. In fact, I want to talk with you about love.
We are all in love, in pain, in love again as long as we are living in the world. We laugh because of love, we cry because of love, we even hurt ourselves because of love. Sometimes we may swear that we will never fall in love with anyone again. However, when we meet the right person, we will just fall. This is how amazing love is. I really admire you as you can love someone since the first glance. I admire you that you can assume the responsibility not only for your lover, but also her everything even her daughter. I admire you that you can accept the death your wife and regard her as a part of you. As I can see, love can make people much better than they used to be. In fact, the story of you reminded me of my grandparents.
My grandfather died a couple of years ago. Since then, my grandmother has started her life without her love of her life. To our surprise, her sadness did not last long. She quickly got out of her moody emotion and started her new life. She began to learn how to make cookies, cakes and things so on. Besides, she made a lot of plans for traveling. At that time, we all thought that she did really get over my grandfather's death. However, there was a night I found her crying in her own room, and I began to notice that she had never really got over it. The only reason she tried all those new skills was that she wanted to fulfill her time so that she would not have a lot of time to think about grandpa. They really loved each other, oh, actually they are still in love with each other.
Thank you for showing me the great story. Nevertheless, there are two suggestions I want to give you. First, I hope that I could see your face next time because you hardly showed your face in the video. Second, maybe you can consider moving into a big city! You will find out that there have been a lot of huge changes during the past 15 years!
Thank you again and best wishes.
